H2O Is The Way To Go!
Written by Alana Cadorin
It's common amongst conversation about the how important it is to drink H20 AKA water, and things such as having eight glasses a day or a litre a day is "just what's better for you." Whilst most women would know and agree that this is true, do you actually know why it is important and beneficial for women to drink water? It's still a very simple explanation ladies, but it's definitely worthwhile to really know why this pure and natural beverage is the best thing for you!
1. Consuming water can increase your physical performance!
Anything that can help you work that bit harder and better at the gym, during a cardio class or simply going for a jog around the block is worth consuming! By consuming water, you are decreasing the rate of dehydration, lack of motivation and muscle tension whilst exercising. Dehydration affects the body's ability to be able to perform tasks at hand affectively, which then causes motivation to decrease on a psychological and physical level.
Drinking water will make the body's water levels at a moderate rate, make you want to workout stronger and harder and you won't be as sore the next morning after a long session at the gym!
2. Creates more energy and increased brain activity
To get yourself through the hard 5 weekdays of 9-5 work, energy and brain activity is crucial in performing and surviving the long working days! By drinking water, individuals will gain more energy as they will not suffer from dehydration which causes the body to slow down and not perform as well. Thus, your brain is hydrated with water levels at a moderate rate, and allows you to think and perform at your best!
3. Keeps your health on track
This one is rather simple to remember ladies. The more water your drink, the more you decline your rate in getting seriously hurtful headaches, skin breakouts, kidney stones, constipation, urinary infections etc.
With this, it can also help with weight loss! By consuming water, the body can fill fuller for longer and sometimes all the body may crave at times is fluid, rather than solids. Water makes you feel satisfied, when it's not hunger pains (we must always adhere to these) and tends to make you feel like eating less portions of a meal once drank before or during a regular daily meal.
