The Fit Diary x
Alana Cadorin:
I, Alana Cadorin, contributed towards Part A of the ISYS100 Blogger Assignment, by posting 4 posts, within a 4 week time span, towards our group’s blog. I also made suggestions as to what could be posted, along with other team members, and made sure 20 blog posts were completed by the end of the duration of the assignment. I also helped to complete the research report, by answering a question provided to answer, question 2, accordingly.
Furthermore, I contributed to Part B of the ISYS100 Blogger Assignment, by suggesting ideas and the structure of how the video should be created. I also filmed a section of myself doing a particular workout that would be contributed towards the entirety of the video film created, in relevance towards the blog, The Fit Diary. Also, I wrote the short introduction/description needed to be featured with the video.
Alexandra Hourigan:
In the part A section of our assignment I proposed the idea of running a fitness blog. We decided individually what to write about and I contributed four pieces including:
- The Top 5 Insta Babes to Motivate Your Bikini Body
- Your Top Workout Songs For Any Music Junkie
- 7 Tips To Your Bikini Body
- Sculptures By The Sea: Your Next Workout
Also I drew up the sketch for the blog and designed the web page myself posting Alana’s ‘Welcome’ as our first blog post. Additionally I contributed to our research report answering question 1 as I was the person who designed the web page and could answer the question to its capacity.
For Part B, I thought it would be an interesting piece if rather than just filming us all working out in one video we conducted a fitness experiment over 5 weeks. I posted in our group with different style of exercise to be divided up over 4 girls, with the 5th being the video editor and intro/conclusion person for the video. Additionally, I posted to youtube and made the last blog post into The Fit Diary blog
Mimi Fitzgerald:
For Part A of our assignment, I contributed to the blog by creating four blog posts that directly related to health and fitness. These included: Fitting Exercise Into a Busy Schedule, Are You a Morning or a Night Person: 10 Benefits of Waking Up Early, The Perfect 5-Day Meal Plan to Get You Started and Exercise Your Way to a Healthy, Happier Life. In addition, I contributed to by answering question three of the research report in collaboration with Jacinda, as we compared our blog to another health and fitness blog.
For Part B of the assignment, I contributed to the video by filming myself describe an array of various yoga poses. I also demonstrated what these yoga poses looked like, as I filmed myself doing them.
Paige Newman:
For Part A of the assignment, I suggested a range of topics for blog posts related to health and fitness, and I contributed five blog posts on five of these topics. These posts were titled:
For the research report, I suggested that we compile it in real-time, collaboratively using Google Docs, and this was an effective way for us to work together and review and build upon each other’s contributions. I also contributed information to various sections, and also oversaw the formatting and final layout of the document.
For Part B of the assignment, I documented my experience with trying a new variation of weightlifting exercise, in the form of a vlog, which I also hope to be informative to any viewers of our blog.

Jacinda Chenney:
For Part A of our group assignment, I posted about a range of topics related to fitness and health including those of Healthy Eating on a Student Budget, Take Your Workout to the Beach and Exercising at the Right Time of the Day. Contributions to the research report included answering question 3 in collaboration with Mimi.
For part B of the assignment, I documented my experience over the 5 week period of the Kayla Itsines workouts that I had been completing through the demonstration of some exercises. The aim of this was to be informative and instructive towards which type of workout to perform.
